{"id":55,"date":"2011-09-13T17:14:43","date_gmt":"2011-09-13T15:14:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/danohara.co.uk\/?p=55"},"modified":"2012-11-18T17:37:12","modified_gmt":"2012-11-18T15:37:12","slug":"interviews-talks-video-and-audio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/danohara.co.uk\/?p=55","title":{"rendered":"Interviews &#038; talks: video and audio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/virtualfutures.co.uk\/\">Virtual Futures 2.0&#8217;11<\/a> conference was astonishingly productive, and the results of the new ideas discussed and new collaborations formed are still reverberating around the net, the media and the conference circuit. Hopefully I&#8217;ll be able to speak about some of those results in the near future; in the meantime, much of the conference is now available on video.<\/p>\n<p>My opening lecture at VF is below:<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/28793843?title=1&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"580\" height=\"326\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Shortly before the conference, Amy McLeod from the Warwick Knowledge Centre interviewed me, mainly about skeuomorphs (the topic of the book I&#8217;m writing at present): the podcast of that interview is <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.warwick.ac.uk\/knowledge\/themes\/virtualfutures\/danohara\/\">available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There was a lot more talk of skeuomorphs in my live chat, &#8216;Understanding the Virtual&#8217;, following the conference; you can read a somewhat truncated and edited-down transcript <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.warwick.ac.uk\/knowledge\/projects\/live\/danohara\/\">here<\/a>.
