{"id":503,"date":"2015-06-03T22:00:49","date_gmt":"2015-06-03T21:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/danohara.co.uk\/?p=503"},"modified":"2015-06-15T17:01:55","modified_gmt":"2015-06-15T16:01:55","slug":"artificial-intelligence-and-howthelightgetsin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/danohara.co.uk\/?p=503","title":{"rendered":"Artificial Intelligence and HowTheLightGetsIn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\" http:\/\/danohara.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/wpid-1037_clicksoftware-infographic_fa01.jpg.jpeg \"><img title=\"png-300x169..png\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\" http:\/\/danohara.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/wpid-1037_clicksoftware-infographic_fa01.jpg.jpeg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Early in May, I took part in a roundtable discussion about AI and the future of work hosted by the marvellous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redconsultancy.com\/red-hosts-artificiai-intelligence-debate\/\">Red<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.clicksoftware.com\/index\/artificial-intelligence-boom-or-doom\/#more-2050\">Click Software.<\/a> The event was covered widely, so no need for me to describe it: <a href=\"http:\/\/computing.co.uk\/ctg\/analysis\/2408513\/is-your-job-at-risk-from-ai-what-artificial-intelligence-means-for-the-enterprise\">Computing<\/a> have an excellent article on it, as do <a href=\"http:\/\/m.theinquirer.net\/inquirer\/news\/2408538\/artificial-intelligence-will-create-the-next-industrial-revolution-experts-claim\">The Inquirer<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itpro.co.uk\/strategy\/24602\/reskill-to-avoid-ai-redundancy-experts-say\">IT Pro.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Later in May I was at the amazing <a href=\"https:\/\/howthelightgetsin.iai.tv\/\">HowTheLightGetsIn<\/a> festival in Hay-on-Wye. It&#8217;s the world&#8217;s biggest philosophy and music festival, and it looked like it. I spoke on a couple of days: one talk on the history of AI, the other on evolution and technology.
